Mike Caudill joined the Â鶹¹ÙÍø music faculty, teaching saxophone, in 2026. With a background in various musical styles, Mike believes in learning the saxophone by studying its role in a range of music, from jazz and rock to classical and beyond. As a saxophonist, composer, and arranger, Mike maintains a busy schedule and is active in several projects, performing across New England and New York. Mike leads his own trios and quartets as well as the jazz fusion collective City of Four and has recorded several albums of original music between these groups. He writes for ensembles of all sizes and configurations, his favorites including saxophone quartets and big bands. Mike’s compositions have received awards and are performed by groups across the United States and internationally.
